About the Role:


We're searching for a dynamic Full-Time Food Production Operator to enhance our daily processes at our Home Bakery located at North Acton – London (Central Line). If you've got the flair, there's potential for you to become a pivotal part of our Central Production Unit which is a traditional production unit based in DEPHNA in North Acton.


· Operate machinery and equipment according to company standards and SOPs to ensure consistent quality of pastry products.

· Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and specifications to achieve product consistency.

· Ensure all necessary documentations are done during production.

· Ensure all orders are completed within set time.

· Handle raw materials, ingredients, and finished products safely to avoid contamination.

· Ensure correct rotation of date codes and exercise ‘first in first out’ principles

· Report any product defects or machinery issues to the supervisor immediately.

· Conduct weight, temperature, and quality checks as required.

· Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

· Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all hygiene protocols.

· Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area by following good manufacturing practices (GMPs).

· Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

· Assist colleagues across different sections of the production floor as needed and performs other duties assigned.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing role is preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of food safety standards and health regulations.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, be reliable, and maintain good attendance.
  • Physically ability, as the role involves standing, lifting, and moving heavy items throughout the shift.


Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP principles and good manufacturing practices.
  • Basic math skills for weighing and portioning ingredients.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new production techniques and procedures.
